A rare Tuscan white that can stand bottle shoulder to bottle shoulder with its pricey red siblings. A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco, it is about as exotic and tropical as you will get for a Chardonnay and as upper-crusty as you will achieve from a fairly warm climate Pinot Bianco. It is like sipping a fine whiskey as you try to dissect its flavor strands–floral like honeysuckle, but some green floral undernotes, some oak barrel spiciness, and only a hint of apple, Chardonnay’s go-to comparison. It is fullish and textured without being heavy–a rare Tuscan treat.

“The 2021 Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley) is packed with black cherry, plum, mocha, licorice, mocha, cola, new leather and spice. This exuberant, flashy Pinot bristles with Russian River intensity. It will drink well right out of the gate.”

“The 2021 Chardonnay Olivet Lane Vineyard is an attractive, soft Russian River Chardonnay to drink now and over the next few years. Pear, apple, spice, yellow flowers and a kiss of French oak give this open-knit Chardonnay plenty of immediacy.”

The 2021 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane is a classic wine from this part of the Russian River Valley. Crushed flowers, spice, mocha and red-toned fruit are all amplified. The 2021 offers tons of textural intensity while also retaining an element of translucence that is quite attractive.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Meredith Estate is a terrific example of the house style. Bold and forward, with tons of textural depth, the 2021 also possesses superb balance. Black cherry, plum, espresso, menthol, licorice and cloves are some of the notes that build in this glass. Even with all of its textural intensity, the Meredith retains very good freshness and verve.
